The Spartan

The Spartan King Leonidas, as he would appear in historical context and not in the movie. He would have a six foot spear, called a dory, a three-foot long sword called the Xiphos and the Hoplar Shield which was made of bronze and was three feet in diameter. He would have worn a chestplate and the Corinthian Helmet. The Spartan warriors in general were a class called the Hoplite warriors.
